Description: Thallus small, epiphytic, attached within host tissue, primary axes curved, secondary axes radiating with hair-like, caducous terminal cells, pseudodichotomously branched. Cells uninucleate. Carpogonial branches 4-celled on basal (supporting) cells of short branchlets, auxiliary cell fusing with fertile axial cell and producing successive gonimolobes of carposporangia. Spermatangial heads elongate, in pairs. Tetrasporangia lateral on branchlets, tetrahedrally divided.
