According to Moestrup & Calado (2018: 100) note: "Amphidinium pusillum J. Schiller (1955, p. 20, pl. I, fig. 1) appears to differ only in that the sulcus extends all the way to the antapex. Further observations are needed to clarify its affinities." - (16 Oct 2018) - M.D. Guiry
