Taxonomic note
According to Wynne (1994) the transfer of Myriogramme minuta to the genus Drachiella by Maggs & Hommersand (1993) is rather tenuous %u201C"...in that the tetrasporangial sori are produced directly on the primary blade in Myriogramme minuta rather than on special proliferations. This character serves to separate genera in the family...". See further notes under Myriogramme minuta. - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry

At low eulittoral levels epiphytic on larger algae and epilithic (Tittley et al. 2009). - (25 March 2010) - G.M. Guiry
