Syntype localities: Ukraine, Kharkiv (Zmiiv region, in a pond near Bezpalivka railway station, in Bile lake, in Ivanytska Bay of Siverskyi Donets river; Dergachi district, in ponds; Kharkiv district, in a pond near Korotych village and in Pioner pond) and Kherson (in Steblivskyi lyman of Dnipro river and in Frolivske and Bile lakes) regions. (Litvinenko 1965: 92).
