The type species (lectotype) of the genus Blossevillea is Blossevillea torulosa (R.Brown ex Turner) Decaisne.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Phyllotricha decipiens (R.Brown ex Turner) R.R.M.Dixon & Huisman.
